on this episode the designers had to create an "all around" dress for rebecca ramone-o`connor. she`s pregnant with twins &&& is probably in her 2 or 3 trimester. she stated that she wanted a piece that fits her body perfectly.
the designs that were created were overall pretty great looking &&& meet rebecca`s demands. however, some of the designs focused too much on her belly. ra`mone was one of the designers that made this mistake &&& caused him to be on the chomping block. his idea was a good one but his execution wasn`t that great.
mitchell had a cute idea also. his idea for over-sized shorts were poorly stitched. they were way too short in the front but perfectly short in the back... the top and jacket, however, fitted and looked great.
the winner of this challenge was shirin. i personally think her design was great. it was very versatile and it looked sooo cute on the model. louise was a close runner up with her 1920`s - lingerie inspired dress. it had layered ruffles &&& cute pleats in "needed" places.
