Assignment 4: Throwing Down the Gauntlet

In this challenge you will need to read page 267 in your DK Handbook, then read a story of your choice from the First Year Composition Reader.Taking what you learned about styles write a few paragraphs talking about the authors sense of style (i.e. does the piece feel lush and detailed, or quick and precise?How was this story supposed to be perceived was it supposed to be happy, sad, suspenseful?). In each paragraph be sure to include a short quote to support your thinking.
