Assignment 4

My challenge for the class will be testing exactly what we learned while doing our previous assignments. The challenge will be to read the second novel in our First Year Composition book by Annie Dillard, and analyze each symbol in the novel, Total Eclipse, such as; the vegetable clown head, the men in the bar, and the paragraph in the novel stating we all must bring our wealth to surface and use it in a way everyone on earth can benefit from it. After reading the entire novel interpret exactly what each symbol means to Dillard and give your own interpretation of each symbol and how they played a role in the novel for you. Our previous assignments have prepared us for this by teaching us how to get into the mindset of a judge, and being able to read into something more in depth then we could when we started this class.
