Font size, color and actual font can help the piece show what exactly it is that the piece is saying. Style almost always makes the piece better. Many people are visual learners so when a piece not only talks with style but also shows some style it helps those learners understand better what is being talked about.
Without the advancement in technology, writing would not be able to be as creative as it is today.
