In the essay "Is Google Making Us Stupid" Nicholas Carr tries to make it seem that Google and other search engines are making it WAY to easy for today's generation to find answer to their common everyday problems. This relates to the our writings in a way because of how it reflects to modern day topics.
Other comparisons between the two is that although Carr's essay is very long it still has a very simple structure of intro body and conclusion. Another main mechanical difference is how both the class and Carr rely text to various parts of the essay to give example and other evidence.
