The contestants were asked to create a look for the red carpet. The judges were looking for true innovation, creativity, designer point of view, texture, skills, and time management.

Episode 2:

The contestants were asked to create a look for a pregnant woman named Rebecca. The challenges that contestants faced were the size of the belly on their designs and making it look wearable. The judges were looking for style and something to show off the womans pregnacy curves.

Episode 3:

The contestants were asked to create a fashionable beach and surfwear outfit. A challenge that the contestants faced were that the judges added an extra challenge of making another outfit in addition the the beach and surfwear. Another challenge contestants faced were that they had to work in teams of two and had to make decisions together. The judges were looking for craftsmenship, garnier hair style, designer point of view, and fun and fashionable looks.
