Judge Assignment

In Project Runway there are many challenges that the contestants encounter, the judges give them somewhat of a specific task. Then the contestants run frantically around gathering materials that they can use to make exactly what they believe the judges want. In the second episode where they must design something very unique, which is an outfit for a pregnant star, none of them have much experience with maternity fashion. This is what I believe makes this show enjoyable to watch. Things that the judges generalize are, for example; what type of outfit is wanted so the contestants are left with a very wide variety of what they can do. But as they are being judged on what they did, the judges repeat what they wanted out of the contestants, which I believe is a very good start when they begin their criticism. Overall what I think is most important about a judge, is that they have to make a harsh decision, and then choose really what best fits the goal that was given in the beginning. Finally regardless of all the many great creations that were made they must only choose the very best.
