Topic Sentences

Topic sentences are critical in a paper. They tell what the paper will be about or even what the paragraph will be about. My topic sentences give information as to what the following paragraph will be about, but I could make them more interesting. All my topic sentences sound similar and don't really hook the readers attention. This is bad, because topic sentences also pose as attention getters. If my topic sentence is not interesting then the audience won't want to read what follows it. This is why topic sentences are so important.
