Top Chef

Im not exactly sure on how to blog or if we even have to write one about Top Chef, but ill take a stab at it. With the section that we are in being "Judging and being Judged" Top Chef fits right into with what we are doing. Besides them being judged, i found alot of other similarities to our task in writing and there task in cooking. First off we get an assignment like they do about a food they will have to make. And after that we are rewarded in our case hopefully we get an A, in there case the winning chef gets there recipe published in the Top Chef cook book. But not all of us are good at writing or the tasks we are asked to do but we have to fight through them and try our hardest to make due with the skills we have like the chefs had to when they were asked to make a desert and none of them were specialized in pastries. To me what im saying is that Top Chef realates not only in the subject we are studying, because yes they get judged as well on what they cook and how they present it just like we will have to when we put our portfolio together. But the things that they do and the challenges they face coincide perfectly with writing. Not everything is going to fall into place and there are going to be challenges that need to be overcome. Both writing and cooking are arts and with being an art comes difficulty, and with difficulty comes alot of time and effort to perfect that art.
