Project Runway and Top Chief have many similar requirements to our assignments. They both have to be done to our best ability. If a student is to do sloppy work they most likely wouldn't receive a good grade on their project, and if a contestant on the show did poor work they could be illuminated from the show. Also, we both are required to put thought into our work. If we don't put time into our work it will probably be poorly done. Another similarity between the shows and a students work is, they both are being judged. They both receive criticism. They also both have requirements. For example on Project Runway the contestants were told to make an elegant look for a famous actress, and the person would did not follow directions was illuminated. If a students wrights a paper and does not meet the requirements they most likely will get points off and possibly fail. There is also a dead line for both the shows and the student. If the contestant does not finish in time they fail, and if a student does not complete an assignment on time it is late and will receive a lower grade. There are so many similarities between the shows and a students work.
Like there are many similarities between Project Runway and Top Chief and a students work, there are also differences. One difference is on Project Runway and Top Chief they are given only a few hours to do their challenge and they have to create it in a short amount of time. With that time they are allowed to put their own twist onto their creations. For a student however, they are given enough time to do exactly what a teacher want not really allowing them to exactly how they want it to be. Everyone has different ideas about things. Another difference between the two topics are as a student we always have a chance to do better, but on the shows if you do bad and get kicked off that's it that person is done. There are many similarities between the two topics but there are certainly are difference two.
