I noticed last night when I was doing my last minute revisions on my Reflective essay and my Interpretive essay that when you read it over and start doing some revisions you can really make your paper more clear and easier for others to understand. Also it made my paper significantly longer and allowed me to do what was asked for the assignment.

So I was thinking of how I could relate my class (English 101) to the Thanksgiving break. I wanted to show my love for the holiday season and English. I thought of some creative ideas; for example, over thanksgiving everybody is sharing their food with others to help out other people and it relates to English because when you work in groups and you have an idea that your group is responsible for brainstorming ideas for that particular idea.

yeaaa sooo i haven`t been totally diligent about doing a weekly blog but when i remember i do it.

i have been feeling aside from my normal self these past couple of weeks... personal reasons. so i`m getting myself back on track! i just put my revised essays on d2l & i feel pretty confident. why idk. prior to break, i can`t say how class was because i was there physically but my mind was else where. this week is a new week & i`m feeling good... right now. hopefully no one screws this up. =D

today i realized that our generation created the word "texting" before there was only the word text, used to decribe letters and nouns (jon says). I found this quite interesting.

Good news everyone!

1) Im having a great Thanksgiving break
2) I revised my papers this morning and i think i found the "formula" to add qoute onto the bad date essay!

I qouted my friend in the stoy and elborated on how there point of view changed my may own. Im not complete sure if this was the goal at hand but its got to be close

Weekly Blog #15

As i have been revising my essays I am noticing that I think i have the majority of the assignment done right. So that is a good sign. I think that if I just keep revising and getting new eyes on my essay that I might just be able to pass portfolio. I guest what I realized will hopefully motivate me to revise closer to make sure I do well.
